I got packages from Cori and Harry. And cards from Jesse, Dili and Clay. Earlier I got the card from Lise.

I still have a few cards to send out in round 2 of my own cards.

And at least two people are going to get virtual presents, stories most likely though I wish my artistic talent worked on demand since there's  a picture I've wanted to draw for Harry for ages.

I got Chris' presents today, and hoping to find something for Cori before too long past Christmas.

And my puppets aren't done with their virtual shopping yet. Armand is usually diligent, but he's blanking on several people this year. We'll get something done by the New Year if we don't get Christmas down. And I need to figure out what Saetan got his children for Winsol, which was either yesterday or today (I haven't a proper calendar around).

Also, i almost got a chance to talk to the high school boyfriend on Googletalk. We had to run out the door, and he said he'd be back on Thursday which makes me think it's a work account.  Meep?!?

I haven't had a great couple of weeks. In ways that it's hard to talk about. Still, I suppose it's better than other Decembers.

Last night, I deleted a bunch of puppet journals: Gideon Prewett (it_took_five), Spyro (bratty_wings), Lucca (lucca_rowan), Rosier (thorny_beauty}, and Charles Jeanne (hero_of_july).

I'm seriously thinking about dropping Pasha and Terisa from desperatefans, and Talia from desperatescreen. I haven't made up my mind yet.

I don't want to think too much.

I have been transferring things from Linden Grove and my old Diaryland diary. When I transferred the little scene where Victor proposes to the assassin, I couldn't help editing it to fit the new names and someone (not me) decided the strikeouts would be funny.

I got DF Armand married last night. Finally. Just after his 1-year anniversary on DF. I'm going back to bed now.

Some people we were really hoping to see at the wedding didn't show, but I suspect typist life fu. It got started horribly late, but oloriel stayed up very late so we could finish the ceremony part.

Like many, I need to prune my puppet stable... tis a sad thing as I love my puppets dearly.

From before, I still have Branaric Astiar branaric_astiar, Count of Tlanth and Meliara's big brother from the Crown Duel/Court Duel books by Sherwood Smith. He will be played until he is adopted, because I don't want to deprive his sister and fiancee of his presence. Please, Bran is a lovely character of whom I am fond, but he is too much like my beachball for ME to play him well.

There is also, Hotblack Desiato disaster_singer from the HHGTG books byt the late, great Douglas Adams. He's the lead singer for Disaster Area, currently dead for tax purposes, and could do with a divine revival to perk him up. He comes with a psychic interpreter as it's hard to talk to the dead. Hotblack is currently inactive and will not return unless he's picked up by someone else. If he's not adopted by Halloween, I'm deleting the journal.

I've been threatening for months, and now it is true, Pasha Antipov/Strelnikov the_shooter is now up for adoption. Pasha is a bit hard to warm up to. He's a idelistic romantic turned hard-nosed revolutionary. He was married to Larisa. He's a good man, is Pasha. Just fancies himself a villain because he doesn't live up to his own standards. Wonderfully complex character if you've been able to read his book, Dr. Zhivago by Boris Pasternak. If Pasha is not adopted by Halloween, he will be retired. The journal will not be deleted but repurposed for non-DF activities.

And lastly, Fleurette Chauvelin, bibis_flower. She's from one the many Scarlet Pimpernel sequels and is a darling child. But I so fail at young girls. She adores Alfred. I'll keep her indefinitely until someone adopts her for I'd hate to take her from her father and Alfred.

Make a list of all the characters in your icons. (Although you may have more than one icon of a single character, they only go on the list once.) Alphabetize it. Take the first two people on the list; that's your first pairing. Second two people; second pairing. Etc.

Okay, I made a few changes. One of the animated B5 icons isn't animated for me anymore, so I don't remember who all is on it. I kept Sophie even though she's a historical person, and I used the actual character and who the icon was for for one.

So I got 5 pairings.

I am tempted by #4. I dare someone in DF to do #2, if it hasn't been done before. And #1 makes a kind of strange sense.

Oh, and I didn't get much written on my NaNoWriMo. Some but not enough. But I did get to visit a past life vignette after all. Victor is just darn confused by it. Well, Michel Victor is too, but I think Jerome has been taking lessons from Merecule of the 'don't let him catch his breath' variety.
