The last two days have been all about cars. We went car shopping yesterday. Test drove two cars, and then Chris (and me) fell in love with a bright yellow two-door Ford Focus. It's his now. His and the bank's. Starbug contributed as a trade-in. Poor dead thing.
The Stratus is technically mine now. Me and Chris are going to juggle insurances and plates and titles next week, and as I get money.
And an amusing note in my search for Malcolm Jamieson. I ran across the site for the company that distributes the
Enid Blyton Adventure Series that was his last credit on IMDb. None of the actors names are mentioned, which is why I didn't find it before. The character he plays is apparently a Scotsman who is a secret agent. Since it's one of those "the children always save the day" sets of stories, he can't be all that competent a secret agent, but reading the synopses, he seems mostly hampered by being asked to work when he's on vacation, trying to court a pretty widow and keep her active pile of kids out of trouble. There's lots of boats and secret caverns and running around in exotic locations. I kinda wish the series were aviable on DVD. We'll never get it here, even on PBS.
